Remember that the art contest deadline for 2009 will be here on the first of the year!

Pond Ripples holds four contests per year. There will be a five dollar entry fee for each contest entry and all items must be family-friendly but not necessarily kid-oriented. All contest winners will be displayed on the website.

Yearly Themes

Every year I will announce a theme. All contest entries should be submitted with that year's theme in mind, but the themes may be interpreted however your imagination guides you.

2008 Theme - Quiet. Think of the quietest things you can as you create.

2009 Theme - Noise! Portray the grandest booms and crashes you possibly can.

The Prizes

First Prize - Up to $100 Cash!

Second Prize - Up to $50 Cash!

Third Prize - Up to $25 Cash!

Okay, let me break down what the "Up To $x" really means. I can no longer lose money on these contests so I need to add a few regulations.
As my mag grows, I will hopefully be able to remove these additional regulations, because there will be enough entries to cover the prize money. Then I will be able to pay my contributors more. Then I will be able to offer more prize money. Then I will be able to . . . Oh, the dreams!

How to Enter

You may submit your entry in two ways. First you may send it through snail mail to
