Creatively Celebrating God's Creation

Hello April!

Dearest Readers,

It’s amazing how time flies. As with every year, the weather can’t seem to make up its mind. We had some wonderfully warm weather for a week or so, and now we’re back to chilly rain. I hope the weather is treating each of you kindly. I’m seeing blooms and blossoms around our yard and neighborhood, and I drink in the sight.

This Month

April is full of poetry again. Enjoy work by Danny P. Barbare, Michael H. Brownstein, Paula Lietz, Nancy Lee Shrader, Salvatore Buttaci, and Stephen Jarrell Williams. Also, enjoy the art of Paula Lietz that accompanies her poetry.

Thank you for those thoughtful comments you all continue to offer. Keep it up!

Submit

Submissions for April are now closed, but May is fast approaching. If you are an author, artist, or photographer please do consider submitting to Pond Ripples. Visit the submission guidelines and read other work published to see if your work might fit. You may also consider allowing me to spotlight you.

Bennett

I have been asking you since last December to pray for Bennett. The chances for him to actually be adopted lower with each passing day. I know the family God has planned for him is out there somewhere, and perhaps money is keeping them from stepping forward. So, I’m asking for a bit more from you over the next couple of months. I’m launching a fundraiser called Compassionate Creativity. This is for the under eighteen crowd to shine with their generosity and their creative talent. So, if you are “underage” or know someone who is, please, click on the link and get involved! Bennett currently has just under $2,000 in his adoption fund. Let’s blow that amount out of the water. I know my readers can do it. To find out how to help, click here.

In Closing

Have a marvelous April! Enjoy the work shared this month, and comment as often as you can.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Burgener
