Hello January!
Dearest Readers,
Happy New Year!
I hope 2011 brings you much hope, happiness, and an ever growing relationship with the King of Kings.
Did all of you enjoy your Christmas? Ours was wonderful. I managed to make two batches of homemade eggnog, and plan to make two more before admitting that eggnog season might be over. Other than that, we had a simple Christmas dinner and joyful gift-giving. My children got into the gift-giving this year. They’ve been wrapping presents since October, and even I wasn’t to know what they were giving away. Needless to say, Christmas morning held many surprises.
So! The new year is beginning. Do you feel prepared? Are you full of plans? I’m still creating my plans as to what I wish to accomplish this next year.
The publishing calendar gets closer to full every month. I look forward to the day when I’ll be able to publish some wonderful piece every day. If you are interested in submitting your stuff, please review my submissions guidelines and check out some other pieces I have published. Also, for you creative souls, please consider allowing me to spotlight you.
This month is full of treats. Please enjoy the poetry by Stephen Jarrell Williams, Salvatore Buttaci, and Tanja Cilia; photography by Kimberly Earley and Betty Houle; Short Fiction by R. Eric Johnson, and a spotlight on Wanda Argersinger. Submissions for December are now closed, but I am taking submissions for January and beyond.
On my personal blog, I’ve decided for my giving project I just can’t leave Bennett behind quite yet. I want to see this little boy find a family! His need has stolen my heart. Read more about him here. I’ll continue reminding you to pray.
Enjoy the work shared this month and comment as often as you can!
Have a wonderful New Year!
Sincerely,
Rebecca Burgener

Rebecca, thanks for the writer’s planner!
I am currently writing a how-to-write-poetry booklet and would like to use your “Submission Log” form in one of the chapters. Of course, I would credit you for it.
Salvatore Buttaci
No problem, Sal. Hope it helps you out.
Yes, you are welcome to using the Submission Log. Let me know when your booklet is complete.
