Creatively Celebrating God's Creation

Hawk by Betty Houle

At 62, I’m a wife, mother and grandmother. By trade, I’m an inspector in a manufacturing facility. By preference, I’m a writer, preferring poetry and children’s stories. I have had two of my poems published and am working on finding a publisher for a children’s picture book. I’m not a professional photographer, but I take pictures of whatever catches my eye. This hawk decided to stop in the field next to my house in Connecticut to find lunch. When he sat on top of a dead tree to eat his catch, I couldn’t resist running for my camera.
