Creatively Celebrating God's Creation

Almost Silent by Anita McQueen

Wind whistling slow

almost silent

*

outside the window

God sleeping

*

waiting

beside me

*

waiting

for me

to blossom

into His bride.

One Response to “Almost Silent by Anita McQueen”

  1. Donal Mahoney says:

I very much enjoyed reading “Almost Silent” by Anita McQueen not only because of the quality of the poem but also for the fact that a poem so spiritual could actually find a publisher in 2011. Orthodox spirituality, I have found, is not that welcome at many sites today. That’s sad. Thanks to Rebecca Burgener and Pond Ripples for running it.
